Do you ever look around and think whoa.....what am I doing here? How did I get here and am I about to fall off this thin ground I am standing on? Then you look at the guy next to you....head up, standing strong and think....well, look at him. He's DOING it.
I am impressed if you haven't ever felt this way, I think we all do from time to time.
I took this shot in Central Park. This small piece of nature in the middle of towering buildings & a huge city. You wonder what these little birds think. Isn't it fun to think of what their conversation might be?
When I get scared or fear creeps in, I love to look at this picture. It reminds me...don't look down or back. Look up and forward. If you hesitate too long or stop moving for too long, that is when fear can consume you. It also reminds me of all the people before me and the people surrounding me that are following their heart, living life to the fullest, standing tall through pain, obstacles and fear, DOING what they believe in. That each of us at any given time will falter but if we have someone standing next to us, showing us the way, leading by example...it gives us strength. How important it is to surround yourself with people who will lift you up.....
and always remind you that you can fly....
So for any of you that might feel like this....don't forget all of us have been on shaky ground. Even the most successful have felt it....but they kept MOVING and never gave up.
Don't forget that YOU have WINGS.....
Have an awesome weekend!

Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWell said, Tracy Jo. Thank you! I can't think of anyone I know who hasn't had spoken about feeling how you so eloquently described.
ReplyDeleteLook back only to remind yourself how far you've come - but otherwise, only look forward and keep your eyes on the goal.
ReplyDeleteFear is an absolute killer. Anytime you can face one of those fears down and beat it is a good day. :))
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully written and with a great message. I have always needed someone to share my branch and encourage my flight.
ReplyDeleteEven Steve Jobs had The Woz.
Don't stop to think - just do it!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Tracy Jo.

ReplyDeleteI have been learning this week that when things get too much I have to remember I have to row my own boat. 95% of life (this week) is out of my control, but that 5%, that is all me and I am going to do the very best I can with it. Maybe just maybe next week it will be 90/10.
ReplyDeleteLove you Honey :)
How inspirational - and a beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Maria

ReplyDeleteGreat photo...I never would have put that together but it made a great post.
ReplyDeleteYes, those birds must be like me when I was in NYC attending Columbia for a week...I wasn't used to THE BIG CITY but I had so much fun...and especially loved the park.
Happy Sunday!
First, this is a GORGEOUS photo! I love that blue fence!
ReplyDeleteSecond, omg. JUST what I needed today, Tracy! I was feeling SO just funky and just like you described here. And you're right. The only solution is to stop looking around and get back to work!
Thanks, my friend! Hope you're doing great~ :o) <3
